Schlage BE365VCAM619 Camelot Keypad Deadbolt, Satin Nickel

I purchased the Schlage electronic deadbolt to allow entry into our house in case I didn't have a key with me. It works very well. Only drawback that I see is that it needs to be placed on a solid door without a glass panel as the lock has a lever on the inside that operates the deadbolt. There is no option for key locking from the inside, only the lever. Locks only keep honest people out, so it's better to have a deadbolt that is key lockable from both sides if you have an exterior door with glass panels. No need making it easier for a thief to get in than is necessary.

Schlage FE285 CAM 716 ACC RH Camelot Front Entry Handleset with Interior Accent Lever for Right Handed Door, Aged Bronze

I do not recommend buying this item in Amazon because you will not save money versus buying at Lowe's. If you buy this locally, you get it right away plus you get left and right lever handed door, also you will get non defective item. In Amazon you must order a confusingLeft or right lever and you will get an undisclosed (defective)crooked handle set or bad thumb lever. Returning or exchanging the itemis not worth of your time.

Schlage B362NV620 Double-Cylinder Deadbolt, Antique Pewter

Bought these for my house after a neighbor was burglarized. Schlage quality shows in all aspects of this product. Inserting and turning the key is nearly effortless. The included screws and hard ware are the REAL DEAL. Follow the easy instructions precisely and you will have a door that is darn hard to kick in! I would give 5 stars but I do not like the brushed finish on this, was hoping for something a little smoother, but don't let looks be your reason to buy a crappy lock that gets your home burglarized!!! This lock is above and beyond the cheaper products from companies like Kwikset. Set this deadbolt next to your old one when you uninstall it and do a side by side, you'll see right there how THICK and STRONG this thing is. I sleep a lot better now and don't worry so much. Also, the Grady reseller experience was ideal, no trouble with them, quick shipping.

Schlage F58 CEN 716 Century Exterior Handleset with Deadbolt, Aged Bronze

I really like this hardware set, but it came in a plain box that is probably used to send to commercial distributors for their installers to use, so it didn't have any jazzy packaging (no big deal). It was missing a screw and washer and I went to Lowes and they happily helped me find the pieces to replace the missing ones. They apparently thought I had purchased the hardware set from them. ?? It all worked out in the end!

Schlage BE365 PLY 609 Plymouth Keypad Entry with Flex-Lock, Antique Brass

What an amazing product, especially if you have several people (maids, caregivers, etc.) that you have been making keys for in the past. The best part is, this item will store up to 96 (I think) different combinations and can be changed or deleted at any time. Each person has their own security code (i.e. the last 4 digits of their phone #, etc.) and we programmed one "generic" # to be used on a one time only basis (for instance, the pest control person), then after they are done that day, we change the "generic" code to something else. Nice bright numbers and the ability to lock the door w/o keying in a code is also very nice. I would highly recommend this product for it's features, ease of installation, cost and very simple programming.

Master Lock DSKP0615 Keyless Electronic Keypad Deadbolt with Light Up Keypad and Schlage C Keyway, Satin Nickel

I bought both this Master Lock DSKP0615 and the Schlage BE365. They both have pros and cons:- Size: the Master Lock is more compact on the outside of the door with its reduced keyboard (2 digits per key)- Installation: the Schlage is better designed, better protection of the wires and overall easier to install- Construction: this is the real weak point of the Master Lock. The lock mechanism is very weak, it won't operate smoothly if everything is not perfectly aligned. The Schlage is much more robust and does not feel like anything is bending when you operate it.- Code: the Master Lock accepts codes up to 10 digits (remember that you actually have only half of the digits since each key has 2 digits) but the Schlage is limited to only 4 digits. The Master Lock also has the night watch feature which allows you to disable all codes by pulling the lock handle from the inside.- Programming: Let's be honest here, in both cases you need to have instructions in hands and follow them very carefully. There is nothing intuitive about this process.Overall:I installed the Schlage on my house front door and the Master Lock on my barn door and they both work fine. I am more worried about the Master Lock construction and how long it will hold. I would recommend spending the extra $10/$15 and go for the Schlage.

Schlage BE365VPLY505 Plymouth Keypad Deadbolt, Bright Brass

This keypad deadbolt is a great replacement for a standard deadbolt. Here's what I like about it:1. This product is a deadbolt that you can lock and unlock without a key. Instead, you enter a 4 digit password to lock and unlock the door. Using a code to unlock the door is much faster and easier than fumbling for keys. Also, you'll never be locked out unless your forget your code.2. If you have a deadbolt on your door, you can easily remove it and install this deadbolt using a regular screwdriver.3. You can set multiple codes (at least 5) to allow friends to access your home. You can easily delete the codes later when access is no longer required. Codes are set up using a 6 digit master password (which can be used to add and delete 4-digit access codes, but not to lock or unlock the door).4. You can lock the door without the code. Just press the rectangular Schlage button (at the top) and turn the knob to the right, and your door is locked. You will still need a valid code to unlock the door. This makes locking up when you leave very convenient.5. This lock can be made "bump-proof." Bumping is a relatively new, and very easy way to pick most deadbolts. It can be done in about 10 seconds and renders most current locks worthless as security devices. If you want to know more, search the internet for "bump key" and you'll be horrified at what you see. If you take this deadbolt to your locksmith before installing it and tell him to disable the key mechanism, your…

Schlage FE595VCAM619ACC Camelot Keypad Accent Lever Door Lock, Satin Nickel

I timed my installation of this at a surprizing 15 minutes, including removing the old doorknobs and reversing the handles on the keyless entry. Usually everything takes twice as long with me! The only hard part was deciding which door to put it on- the main house entry or an outbuilding I use a lot.An earlier review stated that the lock shuts down for 5 minutes after four consecutive missed entries of combinations. I timed mine at 30 seconds shutdown, confirmed in the owner's manual. The thing is made well, heavy duty even. Easy to program and delete combinations. I was hoping to gain entry a tad quicker by "swiping" a finger across four digits in a row, but this won't allow that; it wants a discret push of a number on the keypad with a very short time between entries. So it takes 3-4 seconds to open the door.No complaints, but I await the day the 9V battery gives out and I have to remove the inside portion of this lock to replace it. Then I may have my first gripe!P.S. - I paid $118 (on sale) for mine in bright brass at Lowe's, Jan.'09.

I love never having to worry about having a key to my house. If my young children accidentally lock me out of the house, I'm okay. If I want to go for a run, I don't have to carry a key. If my friends need to get in they can. Each friend has their own code that I can revoke at any time. I love it.

Kwikset 90915SMTCP SmartCode Single Cylinder Deadbolt Featuring SmartKey, Satin Nickel

I really like this dead bolt, but seeing so many Bad reviews makes me worry a bit. I will update this review if any issues arise.Installation was breeze! I actually had a old manual Kwikset dead bolt and the holes aligned up perfectly. I read the instructions and had No problems at all, setting the code was easy, works great! I like how I can leave the home and just press the LOCK button and it locks, then I come home and enter my code and it unlocks! I dont like using a Key on a dead bolt, just seems to take too long, this is great!Quick Update: Many reviews have said the motor drive goes out early. I can happily report my unit is still working fine. The batteries wore out just one time. I highly recommend this dead bolt.Quick Update II: Well here it is Feb 25, 2012 now and it's still working great! Other than the batteries dying out one time, this dead bolt electronic system is flawless!

I got this for my house and really like it. I prefer it over the motorized type since I'm sure the battery will last longer and since I have to pull my door a little bit to get the deadbolt aligned correctly this works much better for me.I am now renting the house out and when the tenant moves out all I have to do is change the codes and the previous tenant will be locked out.I have had it installed for about two years now and the battery is still going strong.

Schlage BE365VCAM716 Camelot Keypad Deadbolt, Aged Bronze

We were consistently running into problems with the number of house keys we had given out to: contractors, landscapers and house cleaners. At some point there's no way to track who's coming and going into your house and whether or not they left the keys. This little gadget eliminates the issue. I can now program the lock with one-time or multiple use codes unique to each individual coming to my house. It installs as easy as any other deadbolt and programming new codes takes about 10 seconds. This has quickly become my favorite new gadget.
